WELCOME TO HERONSDALE MANOR FARM CAMPING

A rustic, family-friendly campsite in the heart of East Sussex, open from 24 April to 6 September, back-to-nature experience surrounded by fields, wildlife, and big open skies.

Facilities include compost loos, hot showers, and washing-up areas, along with logs for sale and fire pits available to hire—perfect for evening campfire stories. Campervans are welcome, with level ground and plenty of space to settle in.

The location is ideal for families who love to explore: just off the Vanguard Way, 30 minutes from the coast and the South Downs Way. The Star Inn, Waldron, is within walking distance and recently refreshed under new management, offering a warm welcome after a day outdoors.

Whether the plan is to run wild in the countryside, enjoy peaceful family time, or simply soak up the simple pleasures of outdoor living, this campsite offers an easygoing, off-grid escape for all ages.

AROUND THE FARM

As a working farm, we are surrounded by nature. Take a walk along one of the many trails around ours and neighbouring farms and delight as you discover the bluebell woods, stumble across one of the 3 local pubs, or call into the local village at East Hoathly for a cup of tea and biscuits. Time it right and you may even see the lambs playing in the field nearby!

Located in the rural countryside of East Sussex, there are heaps of activities to do, from local hiking trails, horseriding, or even mountain biking on the famous South Downs Park. We are also a short drive from local towns for groceries, and the picturesque Cuckmere Haven and Beachy Head cliffs if you fancy getting some fresh sea air.
